Hi, I am Jacky
A planner by instinct. A logistics professional by experience.
I am a wedding and event planner based in Plettenberg Bay on South Africa's Garden Route. For more than 12 years I have planned weddings and events that feel considered, memorable and unmistakably yours.
I have always loved bringing the moving parts together: people, suppliers, schedules and spaces. My job is to take that complexity off your shoulders, from budget and design to sourcing and on-the-day coordination. The result should not only look beautiful; it should feel beautifully managed.
Quality over quantity
I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple works with me directly from first call to final farewell. The planning should feel as celebratory as the day itself.

A relaxed first call or coffee to hear about the two of you, your ideas, your date and your budget. No obligation.
Your plan and proposal
I send a tailored proposal and planning scope. Once you're happy, we sign and your date is secured.
Budget, guest list and venue
We set a realistic budget around what matters most to you, shape the guest list, and I shortlist and visit venues with you.
Design
We build a design concept covering mood, colour, florals, styling and the guest experience, so every element feels cohesive and personal.
Suppliers
I recommend, book and manage trusted suppliers, from photographers and florists to caterers and musicians. I also handle their contracts and keep track of payments.
Final details
Timelines, floor plans, guest logistics and a run sheet for every supplier, finalised approximately 4 weeks before the day.
Your wedding day
I'm on site from set-up to send-off, managing every supplier and solving problems before you ever hear about them. You simply celebrate.

A wedding has a lot of moving parts. The right planning process gives each one a place, so the details never take over the experience.
We start with what matters most to you. Then I build outward: the setting, the style, the guest experience, the suppliers, the schedule and the details. Inspiration can come from anywhere, whether interiors, fashion, travel or nature. The result should feel cohesive, intentional and entirely yours.

Do you travel?
Yes. I'm based in Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route, and I travel anywhere in the world to plan and run your celebration.
How far ahead should we book?
As far in advance as suits you. I'm just as happy to plan well ahead as to pull together a quick turnaround wedding.
How many weddings do you take on each year?
A limited number, so every couple works with me directly from the first call to the final farewell.
Can you help if we've already booked some suppliers?
Absolutely. I love working with new suppliers and will happily jump on board with the ones you've already booked. Partial Planning is designed for exactly this: I'll review your bookings and help you find the rest.
When does on-the-day coordination start?
Handover happens six weeks before the wedding. That gives me time to take over your supplier details, finalise the timeline and walk through the venue before the day.
Do you plan events other than weddings?
Yes. I plan birthday parties and private celebrations, as well as large-scale corporate events, including the annual Pro Am Golf Challenge on the Garden Route.
